Mrs. Meyer's Classroom Rules:

 

 

• Students will be on time for class

  • If you are tardy, you must have a teacher signed pass or be counted tardy

  • Three times tardy equals one detention

• Students will come prepared for class

• Students will use laptops appropriately

  • Youtube, Facebook, Myspace, dating sites, shopping sites are not appropriate.  Computers are a tool not a toy.

• Students will speak respectfully to the teacher and fellow students

  • Students will not speak while Mrs. Meyer is instructing

  • Disrespectful words or actions directed toward teachers or fellow student will earn a discussion in the hall

• Students will not drink soda or eat candy or other food in this room

  • Students may drink water from a screw-top container if it is kept on the floor

  • Treats may be eaten during classroom parties and special events

• Students will place their phone in the center of the table at the beginning of class

 

 

Guidelines to remember:

• Students who earn a D or F on an assessment are required to retake the assement within one week

  • Mrs. Meyer will go to great lengths to accommodate the student.  She expects the student to respect that and attend appointments to catch up.

• Students who do not turn in required practice work will recieve an incomplete until the work in turned in.

  • Incomplete work must be made up within two weeks.  After two weeks, the incomplete will stand.

  • Students with an incomplete will be ineligible to participate in any extracurricular activities!
